Awesome tool whether youre a pro or weekend mechanic. Pairs up with any wifi device and is easy to use!

This app has enabled me to keep a close eye on engine information that my instrument cluster does not show. I have also learned some valuable lessons on driving efficiently while monitoring fuel flow. Great App!!! I do wish that it would calculate fuel level and range even though my engine computer doesnt offer that information. If it can monitor fuel flow then it should be able to calculate fuel level and range based on user imputed tank volume and fill up inputs.

Been using for a day, pretty fun to play with. With more instruction could be even better but not sure how to set up some data. Keep your eyes on the road

Just make sure you get a proper OBD2 wifi module for reliability.

Dont cheap out on the ODBII sending unit!!

I am quite disappointed that this app does almost nothing on my Sprinter. Is there something that I am missing?

I drive: 2004 Audi A4 1.8t 6MT quattro Thoroughly impressed with this app. Right "out of the box" the dashboard gives you required info and enough pages to flip through for different requirements. Very impressed with the gauges page as I can create nearly anything that I havent yet seen and customize the size, type of gauge, read out style, parameters, and anything else the OBD2 scanner can read from your cars ECU/sensors. The customization is killer, truly! Obvious adjustment and improvement/updates to the app and it is nice to know the developer is putting more into this. Great app for tuners, enthusiasts and anyone interested in knowing more than your own dashboard is telling you. Would like to see a little improvement in multitasking between apps and then back to DashCommand. Sometimes things get a little buggy, so changing a song after youve already synced via the WIFI network (I use a Kiwi 2) can be a challenge. Maybe I am asking to much a phone... The gauges customization page could use a little refresh in the aesthetic dept but honestly, I will take functionality over looks any day, so that isnt even a critique but more of a wimpy whine. Great App. Like title says!

Do you need OBD II for everything to work on the app Or what do I need to do?

Using with a GoPoint BT1A OBD II Bluetooth dongle with an iPhone 4S. Had minor issue connecting the app for the first time. Support sent an email promptly with a link to their trouble shooting page. Updated a few parameters in the app as recommended and all good. Good value and a handy app. Stu

Does everything I need it to do and than some.

I want an advanced app that can read out obdII valves and have them display properly while Im driving. because of the overwhelming positive reviews I bought this app. Now Im regretting I ever pay for it. GUAGES are too small to be useful. Downloadable skins are mostly craps! GUI is complicated for use and too busy to read while you are in a vehicle. This app needs a design overhaul! Now I want my $ back!

this is a toy not a tool. it is also one of the most poorly thought out pieces of software i have ever seen. if you want to try and diagnose your engine issues i suggest you buy something else. anything else. for the price this is by far the worst app i have ever bought at the app store. 1. there is no way to just select and view standard obd2 raw outputs. you have to cycle between multiple “dashboards” that each have limited customization options according to the designers concept of what some 19 year old might think is cool (including a bunch of useless calculated stuff). there is a second set of customizable analog gauges but even after reading the manual it seems all you can change on these is appearance. i could not find a way to customize them to show the obd2 outputs you want on one screen and analog dial gauges are not what you want if you are diagnosing anyway. 2. the menu organization and controls are just appalling. just getting to and from the main menu is a chore and there is a second main menu with less options for no apparent reason. totally counterintuitive and needlessly dead ending layout. also had popup menu display problems with my iPad. 3. every time you turn the app on it hangs up while it wants to connect to an obd2 scanner. including when you just want to look at your logged/saved data. 4 it’s a battery pig. 5. there is no way to view the datalog as a a graph unless you have a pc computer and buy their other software. they sell iPhone apps but they don’t support macs! you can export a raw data excel spreadsheet but it takes the app 3 or 4 minutes to convert the file for export and the output is a disaster. it took me twenty minutes just to sort the standard obd2 outputs it logged from all the junk fields. which is when i discovered how few outputs were even logged. 6. for no apparent reason it does not recognize a bunch of obd2 outputs on my toyota that i have seen working on a standard non-toyota specific obd2 scanner. even when you drill down into the settings manual it does not seem to log all obd2 data. just the stuff the designer thought would be sexy. want something as basic as voltage? too bad.

Gives you everything you need! A must have!

Since the update, the icon sits in a darker state with "waiting" underneath it. I cant open the app, and if I delete it, I will lose all my data. Ill increase my rating once this problem is fixed.
